 Create an engaging display that inspires your community to take action and share your creation with us for a chance to win two books from our Global Citizenship reading lists!

IDW 2026 Library Campaign

 

​Who: Public and School Libraries across Saskatchewan that provide resources for those who fall into the pre-K to 12 range. 

Why: International Development Week (IDW), celebrated the first week of February every year, is an annual initiative that has engaged Canadians on global issues since 1991

Registration Deadline: December 15, 2025

How to Participate:

  • Set up the display in your library.

  • Send us a photo of your display to education@saskcic.org by Monday, February 2, 2026 (the Monday of IDW).

  • Feel free to share your display on Facebook and/or Instagram and tag us @saskcic!

    • You can use these hashtags: #InternationalDevelopment #sdgs2030 #saskcic #IDW2026 #GoForTheGoals #inspiringglobalaction #VisezLesObjectifs

  • You’re welcome to include books or resources from your own collection related to global issues or international development.

Winning Prizes:

  • All displays will be featured on SCIC’s social media.

  • All participating libraries will be entered to win two books from the curated list. One winner will be selected from community libraries and one from school libraries.
