Saskatchewan People - Making a World of Difference

Educating Saskatchewan citizens on global issues and how to be engaged global citizens is a core component of the work that SCIC does to create a more just, equitable, and sustainable world. ​​Global citizenship education is about students’ active participation in global social, political, economic, or environmental issues. By training educators in these topics, SCIC can have a cascading effect, allowing more students to learn and have a positive impact on the world.

Our members are at the core of what we do at SCIC. From hosting training sessions and social events, we create spaces where our members can learn, connect, and collaborate on advancing sustainable development. Together, we amplify our collective impact, foster meaningful partnerships, and ensure that Saskatchewan continues to be a leader in global citizenship and cooperation.

Our youth (18-35)  programming is designed to engage, empower, and inspire this dynamic demographic through educational workshops, leadership training, and global citizenship initiatives. We provide platforms for young voices to be heard and opportunities for them to lead change, both locally and internationally.
