Reading Circle for Educators
SCIC's Educators Reading Circle is a virtual gathering space for educators interested in exploring books on global issues and connecting those conversations to classroom practice.
Reading Circles are typically offered seasonally, often in the fall, winter, and spring. Each Circle focuses on a selected book and invites educators to discuss key themes, share teaching ideas, and reflect on how the book can support learning in Saskatchewan classrooms.
Featuring expert presenters and guest speakers, the Circle sparks engaging conversations on topics like decolonization, power and privilege, anti-racism, democracy, feminism, war and conflict, and Indigenous environmental knowledge.
