Classroom Art Contest

This year's International Development Week Classroom Art Contest saw submissions from Kindergarten through Grade 9 classrooms across the province! Each piece shines with students' creativity and their love for the world around them.

2026's theme, "Colours of the Earth", inspired students to explore ideas ranging from the SDGs, the land, and a sense of identity, to the local and global community, the environment, and more.

Students brought their visions to life using an amazing variety of artistic techniques including painting, paper cutting, collage, weaving, and even creative uses of recycled materials!

A huge thank you to all the students and educators who participated - you've made the world a more colourful and inspiring place!
