InSight Classroom Workshops
InSight is a video-based classroom learning opportunity that helps students explore global issues, sustainability, equity, and the Sustainable Development Goals through guided discussion and hands-on activities.
Educators can request the InSight module and physical activity kit, including cardboard virtual reality goggles, to lead the immersive workshop independently, or invite SCIC to facilitate the workshop in person with their class.

Choose Your InSight Experience
Choose the format that works best for your classroom. InSight can be delivered through video-based workshops, supplementary learning activities, or a tailored combination of both to support your students' interests, schedule, and learning goals.
Video-Based Workshops

InSight offers four video-based workshops that introduce students to global issues through real stories and guided classroom discussion.
Film options include: Clouds Over Sidra, which explores life in a refugee camp through the eyes of a young Syrian girl; Growing a World Wonder, which highlights climate resilience and the Great Green Wall in Senegal; Samuel’s Fair Trade Journey, which follows a Fairtrade coffee farmer in Kenya; and Two Drops of Patience, which focuses on global health and polio vaccination efforts in Uganda.
Supplementary Workshops

Educators can also request supplementary workshops to deepen student learning around the Sustainable Development Goals and global citizenship These extension options introduce students to topics such as the SDGs, gender equality, climate action, and good health and well-being.
These Workshops can be paired with the video-based InSight sessions or used to support broader classroom learning on global issues.
