Global Citizenship Education Modules

SCIC’s Global Citizenship Education Modules are free classroom resources that help Saskatchewan educators bring global issues, the Sustainable Development Goals, equity, anti-oppression, gender equality, justice, and sustainability into their teaching.

​

All four modules are available in English and French and are designed to support meaningful, age-appropriate conversations about local and global responsibility.

​

Teachers can request digital copies of the modules to use independently in their classrooms, or request an SCIC facilitator to lead a full classroom workshop in person.

Explore the Four GCE Modules

Each module helps students explore global citizenship through a different lens, from solidarity and justice to power, privilege, classroom action, and gender equity.

Students explore the difference between charity, justice, and solidarity while learning to think more deeply about poverty, inequality, and the root causes of global issues.

Students Examine how power and privilege shape people's experiences and build their capacity to recognize, analyze, and challenge discrimination through an anti-oppression lens.
