"Global Citizenship, to me, means doing what we can at all levels –locally and internationally — to advance the causes we know are right. We need to shift power, to make “invisible” problems visible, to identify community-driven solutions, and to bring local concerns to global attention. Global Citizenship means using every possible opportunity to advocate for the kind of world we should all want to live in."

The Saskatchewan Council for International Cooperation (SCIC) is a coalition of organizations and individuals working to advance sustainable global development.

SCIC was formed in 1974 by international development and emergency relief agencies active in Saskatchewan.
