IDW 2026

Library Campaign

During International Development Week 2026, SCIC encouraged both public and school libraries to set up displays to showcase books and documentaries, helping visitors explore Global Citizenship and learn how they can contribute to a better world. 

​

We received submissions from all over the province, transforming libraries across Saskatchewan into vibrant hubs for emerging global readers! 

​

A heartfelt thank you to all the libraries for your participation and support - your dedication makes a real difference.

The Saskatchewan Council for International Cooperation (SCIC) is a coalition of organizations and individuals working to advance sustainable global development. SCIC was formed in 1974 by international development and emergency relief agencies active in Saskatchewan.
