Executive Director

Zehra Rizvi

Zehra Rizvi has been actively involved in non-profits for 20 years working for organizations like Global Affairs Canada, Plan International, Canadian Red Cross, Canadian Cooperative Association and the University of Saskatchewan. She obtained a BA in International Studies from the University of Saskatchewan and an MSc in Integrated Water Resource Management from McGill University. Currently, she serves on the Saskatoon Open Door Society board, an organization dedicated to welcoming immigrants and refugees in Saskatoon; she serves as Vice-chair and Chair of the Governance Committee. She is committed to gender equality, education for girls and the protection of children.

Winnia Zhang

Winnia Zhang is passionate about international education and has been working directly with international partners for almost two decades. Throughout her career with University of Regina, she has extensive experiences in working with stakeholders to serve the international clients and managing various types of global experiential programs.

Winnia has obtained her BBA in Marketing and Communications from the University of Regina and a MA in Higher Education Administration and Leadership from Royal Roads University. Her educational and professional adventures have built a strong and unique foundation in her skills to excel in intercultural communications, stakeholder relations, change leadership, professional development, and program management. She is dedicated to the principle of continuous learning and development, at work or at home.

Youth Coordinator

Taylor Marshall

Taylor Marshall is our Youth Coordinator and truly cares about aligning her experience and skills to promote access to the benefits of intercultural learning and global citizenship skill development.  Coming up on a decade of experience in international higher education and non-profit newcomer language and settlement services, Taylor loves to see clients and program participants thrive - academically, personally and professionally. Taylor completed her Bachelor of Arts in Spanish language and literature at the University of Regina and is currently completing her Master of Arts in English.  Outside of international program management and educational design, Taylor can be found with her nose in a history book, taking long walks in nature, or plotting her next global adventure.

Lisa Vance

Lisa Vance brings a decade of diverse experience in non-profits and non-formal education, driven by a fervent dedication to education's role in global and local development. With a focus on UN Sustainable Development Goals, she advocates for both formal and informal education's transformative power. Holding degrees in Tourism Management and International Development, along with a Certificate in Adult Learning, Lisa is deeply committed to gender equality. Outside work, she finds joy in reading, board games, volunteering, and exploring the world, having lived in multiple countries and visited 14 others.

Program Assistant

Amina Salah

Drawing from a rich tapestry of experiences as an asylum seeker and immigrant across diverse regions such as Somalia, Hong Kong, and Canada, Amina Salah brings a unique perspective to her work in the non-profit sector. Amina completed her Bachelor of Arts in International Affairs at the University of Regina. A dedicated researcher and passionate advocate for global change, Amina is deeply committed to unraveling the complexities of societal dynamics. Beyond academia and community engagement, Amina finds solace and inspiration in painting and reading, two hobbies that fuel her creativity and offer a unique lens through which to explore the world.
