As development and humanitarian organizations, we have a duty of care to all the people we work with; made even more critical by the power imbalances inherent in our work. Our sector is uniting around a commitment to create safe and respectful workplaces and programs that promote gender equality and are free from gender-based violence.

The co-chairs of the CCIC Steering Committee to Address and Prevent Sexual Misconduct will join us to discuss emerging initiatives aimed at improving practices and policies that might protect and respond to our own staff, volunteers and the communities we serve.

On Tuesday, November 13, the Inter-Council Network of Provincial and Regional Councils of International Cooperation (ICN) in collaboration with the Canadian Council for International Cooperation (CCIC) organized this webinar on understanding the CCIC Leader's Pledge and the work of the Steering Committee to prevent and address sexual misconduct in Canada's global development and humanitarian sector.
