Meet the Team! Educators for Solidarity 2017

SCIC is excited to announce the team of 8 participants and 6 advisors for Educators for Solidarity Initiative!

Educators for Solidarity is an opportunity for Saskatchewan post-secondary education students to see first-hand the work of SCIC’s member agencies on the ground, to learn about international development and global citizenship education, and to build meaningful cross-cultural relationships within and across borders.

From June 28 - July 12, 2017 these 14 individuals will be living and learning alongside one another and our partners in El Salvador. More than a learning tour, the initiative involves 5 days of pre-departure training including language classes and critical topics in international development and global citizenship education, and post-travel learning and actions at home in Canada.
