Knowing Ourselves, Knowing the World: A Global Citizenship Journey from Saskatchewan to El Salvador (2015)

Online. Total Running Time 30 min.

Synopsis: Knowing Ourselves, Knowing the World is a short film documenting the personal journey of eight Saskatchewan youth as they travel across borders and within themselves, and explore what it means to be responsible global citizens.

In the summer of 2015, eight youth leaders from Saskatchewan visited projects in El Salvador supported by the Primate’s World Relief and Development Fund (PWRDF) and their partner in El Salvador, the Committee Against AIDS (CoCoSI). In El Salvador, the youth met with staff and volunteers, as well as community members who have been impacted by international development efforts.

SCIC's Global Citizen Youth Leadership Program is a unique, short-term, immersive, international experiential learning opportunity for globally-minded Saskatchewan high school youth.
