About the event
MCC Saskatchewan is proud to present our first ever Peace Conference. Building on the foundation of our Encounter & AGM, the Peace Conference gives participants the opportunity to engage in MCC's peace and justice work.
This year's conference theme is Advocacy Matters, creating a forum for dialogue around faith rooted advocacy, in theory and practice. Conference attendees will learn about the theology of advocacy, the role people of faith play in advocacy, and strategies and tools for effective advocacy.
KEYNOTE SPEAKERS
Esther Epp-Tiessen | Former MCC Ottawa Office Public Engagement Coordinator
Steve Heinrichs | Director of Indigenous - Settler Relations for Mennonite Church Canada
